About

I'm a Chicago-based artist living with my three boys: my husband, my little boy, and Zeus, my husky. I have a full-time job and a full life. Painting happens in whatever time is left, which isn't much, but that's what makes it worthwhile.

I paint in acrylic and oil. I love florals—colorful, fun, and alive. My abstract work is different in energy, more dynamic and spontaneous, but just as colorful. Then there are landscapes. I'm drawn to atmospheric scenes, simplified forms, and soft transitions, even if I'm still losing a long-standing battle with clouds.

I'm curious about different mediums and always learning. I like seeing how a different material or approach changes what I make. Some experiments land. Some don't. That's part of the work.

I've always believed art doesn't need to be grand or perfect to be meaningful. I've been lucky enough to collect a few small original pieces from other artists, and those paintings mean so much to me. Living with their work has shaped what I hope to share here: something personal that someone else connects with and wants to give a home.
